Scholarships

Paul Mitchell The School San Diego offers scholarships to support our Future Professionals. To apply, please review the scholarships criteria, send supporting documents to your Financial Service Office. the Financial Services Office will send you the official application to sign and accept awards. 

Only one scholarship will be awarded per qualified applicant:

Academic Achievement Scholarship
  • The Paul Mitchell Academic Achievement Scholarship is offered to students with a 3.00 GPA or higher on their high school transcript. Submit a sealed, official high school transcript via physical envelope or a digital credential service (e.g., Parchment).
Core Value Scholarship
  • The Core Value Scholarship is for students who have actively volunteered over 30 hours to support a community program in the calendar year preceding the student's start date. Submit an official letter from a registered non-profit organization confirming the student's participation and confirmation of hours completed. 
Surviving Spouses and Children Officers and Firefighters Scholarship
  • This tuition credit may be used by the children or surviving spouse of a police officer or firefighter who has been killed in the line of duty. Appropriate supporting documentation will be required.
Opportunity Scholarship
  • The Opportunity Scholarship if offered to students who are first-generation students. A first-generation student is defined as a student whose parent's have not more than two years of education beyond high school and no post-secondary degree. The FASFA must indicate that neither parent's education level is above high school. 
Military Member Surviving Dependents Scholarships
  • This non-cash scholarship is for the surviving dependents of a military member killed in the line of duty after 9/11/2001. Students will need to contract the local State Department of Veterans and Military Affairs to receive proper documenation. 

Note: Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each applicable payment period to remain eligible.
